Clean Green Cuisine chronicles my efforts to eat and prepare food that is not only healthy and nutritious, but also healthy for the planet! This means eating food that travels as quickly as possible from the earth and sea into my mouth. Food with minimal processing and packaging. I try to eat organic as much as I can, but believe that eating locally is just as important. I eat mostly vegetables, fruits, whole grains, organic dairy and eggs, sustainable seafood and a little bit of happy meat. And chocolate! I hope this blog will help me to be even more conscious of what I'm eating and where my food is coming from, and inspire others to try to do the same. I just want to do the best I can for my body, soul, and planet - that's worth a little extra effort, isn't it?
